Dormant Sprays:   (1 Application, Jan. - March or Nov. - Dec.)

Dormant oils are applied to trees and shrubs during the winter months. This non-toxic spray works to control scale insects, mites and smother egg masses of other insects. These pests survive through winter on the twigs and trunks of trees and shrubs. This dormant spray is applied only once during the year at a specific time and is regarded as the most important of the general spray

Foliar Insecticide Sprays:   (1-3 Applications, April - Sept.)

Foliar sprays are applied during the spring and summer months to control a wide variety of damaging insects. Due to the life cycle of these insects, one or more applications must be applied at specific times to protect the foliage during the varying increases in insect activity.

Fungicide Sprays:   (3-5 Applications, April - May)

A series of at least 3 sprays must be applied in early spring as a protective coating to control leaf fungus and rust disease of crabapple and hawthorn trees as well as the needlecast problems on pine and spruce trees. The number of sprays needed is influenced by the amount of rainfall there is during the spray period.

Holly Soil Drench:    (1 Application, April - May)

A systemic soil injection and spray application used to prevent Holly Leaf Minor damage.

Systemic Micro Injections:

Controlled applications of insecticides and fungicides directly into the trees to control and prevent various insect and disease problems, without the side effects of conventional sprays. Micro Injections can also be used to supplement essential nutrients that are needed to maintain optimum tree health.

Fertilization:

Healthy trees are more capable of preventing serious insect and disease problems. We strongly recommend this slow release liquid formulation which not only provides essential elements needed for your plants health, but also creates and conditions the soil. One application will benefit your plants for up to 2 years.

For trees under stress from construction, soil compaction, drought, etc., we have an organic root stimulant which can be mixed with the fertilizer to increase water and nutrient uptake.

"Florel" Fruit Eliminator Spray:   (1 Application, April)

We are offering the foliar spray that will reduce the number of sweetgum balls along with the fruit production of other bearing trees. We have tested this product each spring since 1994. The results to this point have been excellent. Application must be made at full bloom in the spring. This would give us an application window of approximately 14 days. With application time being crucial we urge you to sign up early.

Antidesiccate Spray:   (1 Application, Nov.)

Antidesiccate Sprays are applied to evergreens (pines, hollies, rhododendrons, etc.) to prevent winterburn.

We want to reassure you that all of our applications are safe to apply and are done by experienced technicians and certified commercial applicators, who are licensed and regulated by the state of Missouri.
